Sketchbook completed

I finished my pocket moleskine I'm sad yet excited to start a new book this time a large moleskine which is a bit different from what I'm use to.

I received my sketchbook for the Sketchbook Project about a month or so ago.  The book is smaller than the one of last year, the pages are white and slightly thicker.  However, I was disappointed with the quality I expected something wonderful.  I thought of rebinding it by adding a long strip of paper folded, accordion style but decided to keep it in the original format.

New Sketchbook

A few weeks ago I signed-up to participate in The Sketchbook Project: 2011; where you choose a theme, a sketchbook is mailed to you, use any medium, and send it back to the Art House Co-op.  It goes on tour across the country and exhibit at galleries and museums.  After the tour is over all sketchbooks go into the permanent collection at The Brooklyn Art Library.  And just like a regular library the sketchbooks will be available for the public to view.  How awesome it that?
The anticipation was killing me I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and start working.  Sure enough it arrived today just in time.  My sketchbook theme is Nightmare.  Having said that, make sure you return to view some of my nightmares.  I will upload images of my sketchbook on blogger (that would be here) and on the Art House website.
